In this guide, we will display the steps to manage Self Checkout Order Control via the ePOS Hybrid Admin Panel.
Firstly, log onto your Admin Panel via https://www.eposhybrid.uk/ or via the ePOS Hybrid Operator App.
Once logged into your Admin Panel, select Self Checkout, followed by Self Checkout Settings.
The Self Checkout Settings screen will appear, allowing you to update your Order Control Settings.
The first field - Select Order Type - allows you to specify which Service Types are available to customers when ordering via the Self Checkout. If you wish a specific Service Type not to be available, uncheck the relevant box.
The Select Payment Mode section allows you to specify whether customers can Pay by Card or Pay at Operator. Unchecking the relevant box will remove an option on the Self Checkout.
If you operate Vouchers or a Loyalty Scheme, you can provide customers with the option to use these on your Self Checkout by checking the relevant boxes in the Select Promotion Mode section. The Do You Want to Send Order to Kitchen? field allows you to specify whether orders placed on the Self Checkout are automatically sent to the kitchen or if they require approval on the Operator App before being sent to the kitchen. If you wish orders from either the Pay at Operator or Card payment methods to be sent straight to the kitchen, select Yes. If you wish to manually approve orders before being sent to the kitchen, select No.
If you wish to run Table Management on the Self Checkout for Eat-In customers, select the Do You Want to Run Table Management dropdown box and specify Default if you wish to list the table numbers in numerical order, Custom if you have a customised layout - refer to our ePOS Hybrid Academy guides on Table Management for further guidance - or Not Active if you do not wish to use Table Management for Self Checkout orders.
Next, select the Primary Colour for the Self Checkout.
Finally, use the Browse From PC buttons to upload the Order Here and Order Type screen images to be applied on the background of your Self Checkout.
Once all settings have been updated, click Save at the bottom of the screen to update your Order Control Settings.
