Senior Marketing Manager

We’ve created awesome digital ordering & business management tech which, helps hospitality providers, including restaurants, takeaways, pubs and bars, absolutely rock their customer service and generate more sales. We now have an amazing Senior Marketing Manager opportunity for someone who is looking to join a disruptive, rapidly growing business and, wants to propel their career by leading an international marketing department.

 

Responsibilities

From day one, you’ll be an absolute rockstar!

You’ll bring fresh new ideas on how to elevate our campaigns and lead our marketing team’s activity across the full marketing spectrum including: Paid, organic, events, PR, web, branding and demand generation.

 

As our Marketing Head Honcho, we’ll need you to:

  • Lead strategy development for our marketing team - planning activity, budget spend and forecasting results, you’ll always ensure spend and execution is aligned with the business’ strategic objectives and KPI’s
  • Lead the development of epic multi-channel marketing campaigns and deliver exciting plans on how to elevate our brand awareness, create sales leads and drive e-commerce sales
  • Help us scale into new markets by developing awesome Account Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns.You’ll work closely with our Sales Manager and Head of Growth to launch our brand-new Enterprise/large business product.
  • You’ll elevate our inbound customer acquisition strategy by building a prospect database, generate interest and capture sales intent within your marketing funnel from targeted buyers to enhance sales conversion
  • You’ll be a data nerd, capturing and monitoring key data points across the full marketing spectrum. Everything from bounce rates and conversions to CPAs and ROI, you’ll track and report on key metrics to influence future campaign design and budget spend
  • You’ll manage our team of Marketing Execs, Web Managers and Digital Marketing Manager (as well as, our agencies), to develop an impressive content marketing plan which elevates our business’s brand and positioning across paid and organic materials. You’ll develop our core messaging to strongly resonate with our various target audiences.
  • You’ll work closely with our Customer Success and Operations Manager to develop and execute automated activity throughout our marketing funnels to enhance customers journeys, elevate acquisition and reduce churn
  • Think outside the box and help us hack our growth by identifying new opportunities that’ll help us aggressively scale our demand generation and customer acquisition within our target market
  • Be an inspirational leader to our existing team of marketing professionals. You’ll coach and develop your team to elevate their skills and knowledge and help them smash targets on a monthly basis! You’ll create an aspirational marketing department which is determined to take over the world!
  • Proactively liaise with Sales and Customer Success teams to review lead gen and sales performance as well as identifying new trends, ideas and content opportunities
  • Work with the wider management team to decide and shape our strategic direction to support our international expansion as we launch and penetrate new markets around the world!

 

What we need from you:

  • To kick things off, you’ll need to be ambitious and determined to leave your mark on the world on the world of marketing with epic, industry leading campaigns
  • You’ll also need to bring strong marketing management experience, preferably in B2B but B2C is also great! You’ll also need to have proven experience leading a team of 3 or more.
  • You’ll need to have a proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies across demand generation and ecommerce sales
  • You’ll have a strong understanding and experience of Paid search.
  • A good understanding of Facebook Ads Manager, Shopping channels and be able to direct strategy development and execution on these platforms
  • You’ll be in charge of hefty marketing budgets so you’ll need to have experience being a budget holder with the ability to allocate spend to generate the greatest ROI possible
  • Strong understanding and experience in developing strategic marketing campaigns in line with business objectives across all stages of the marketing funnel, targeting various personas and target audiences
  • You must be passionate about marketing and be determined to achieve big things in your career
  • You’ll be based in Edinburgh or within commutable distance of our office so you can benefit from the free food and ping pong

 

Beneficial skills:

You’ll get bonus points if you have the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t, we will provide a full training program and will give you on-going support:

  • Experience in running Amazon ads and Amazon shops
  • Liaising with external agencies including PR, Design and Digital Marketing and co-ordinating stakeholders
  • Previous work with e-commerce platforms, and knowledge of driving sales, increasing conversion and cart abandonment rates
  • Working knowledge of CRMs, preferably Hubspot

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year + bonus + share options
